Shadow Puppet Making Workshop
Angel Heart Theatre: Light In The Dark – Dark In The Light
Join James and his moon shadow screen to discover the enchanting and mysterious world of shadow puppetry. James has used shadow puppets in many of his puppet shows and he will be bringing some of these with him, as well as a couple from Bali, where shadow puppets have long been used in performance.
He will then take you through the process of making your own shadow puppet which you will be able to take home at the end of the day. James will also demonstrate how to use shadow puppets and you will have the opportunity to bring your puppet to life on the moon shadow screen.
This workshop involves craft-making techniques so we ask that all children under 10 years please be accompanied by an adult who is prepared to help the child(ren) they are with.
DATE: Sunday 10th November 11am – 4pm
TICKETS: £6 per ticket (max. 25 participants)
Please note tickets are as follows… 1 ticket = 1 puppet to be made i.e. if you are bringing your child and you will just be helping them make their own puppet, then you only need to buy 1 ticket.
However, if you are both looking to make a puppet then you will need to buy 2 tickets please.
