This workshop welcomes you to explore the wonder of the natural world through storytelling!
In this workshop we will use mindfulness and play to make pictures, developing a unique way to relate to the world around us. Guided by nature and intuition, you will explore ways to tell a story, creating series of poetic drawings and narratives.
At the end of the workshop there will be a group collaboration, an invitation to share or discover our collective story.
The workshop is open to ALL, no previous experience required. Materials will be provided but you are free to bring your own.
This is the second of the ‘Drawing the Imagination’ workshop series – a chance to loosen up, express, and get crafty!
Feel free to get in contact with any questions you may have!
This workshop is led by Ailbhe (@albalanna) – a poet, storyteller and artist currently studying MA in Illustration in Falmouth. My work uses themes of cyclicality and seasonality to document the changing landscape (inner and outer). Through my words and art I hope inspire a sense of gentleness, softening the gaps between people, plants and creatures.
