Angel Heart Theatre: The Light Unfurled
Join us in the Eco Park barn for a weekend of workshops to make your own eco friendly lantern using biodegradable material such as willow and wet tissue paper.
DAY 1 – Saturday 16th November – 10am till 4pm
As we approach the longest night it’s time to offer up some light to the dark! James will be leading a drop-in workshop where you can come and make a simple pyramid lantern out of willow and tissue paper. Each lantern will be illuminated with a battery-operated tea-light and takes between 1 – 2 hours to make.
This workshop involves craft-making techniques that are best achieved with two pairs of hands so can all children be accompanied by an adult who is prepared to help the child they are with.
No tickets for this workshop, it is a drop-in open workshop – Cash donations welcome and greatly received (£4)
DAY 2 – Sunday 17th November – 10am till 4pm
Adult or older child large lantern workshop for those wishing to create a more adventurous willow lantern and are prepared to spend a day creating it, then this second workshop offers that opportunity.
TICKETS: £6 per person
All participants of both workshops are invited and encouraged to join our lantern parade on Friday 6th December from 6pm to show off your creations at our Christmas Market lantern parade!
