Mount Pleasant Eco Park - Sustainable Community Space

Set in a fantastic rural location, with easy access from the A30 and ample parking space, The Eco Park is a flexible venue for meetings, conferences, parties, community celebrations, events and corporate hire, providing unique and versatile facilities at affordable rates on our 42 acre site near Porthtowan in Cornwall.

We can offer our versatile barn space, or the smaller sun room to hire, along with our stunning grounds.

Also on the Park you’ll find wild camping, a fascinating range of independent businesses and a direct path down to the beach and access to amazing countryside views and walks from the Eco Park spaces.

We have two bars at the Eco Park are open throughout the year plus a new cocktail bar in our recently finished ‘Skylarking’ club space.

Both bars offer locally sourced and brewed beers, lagers and ciders, this includes cider produced by the Bearded Brewery in Newquay and ales from St Ives Brewery in Hayle. Alongside the choice of draught products we sell the famous Tropical Pressure rum punch, bespoke spirits and locally made Kombucha. A large range of alcohol-free beers and soft drinks are also available. The cocktail bar delights customers with it’s fabulous comfort and style and it’s amazing choice of delicious cocktails.

Our welcoming, friendly and attentive bar staff are always happy to offer a choice of drinks and information.

Our Barn bar is available for gigs/parties/booked events and throughout the winter months, whereas the Atrium bar provides a relaxed space to enjoy the evenings throughout the year – a fire pit gives warmth as the evenings draw in.

Conference Spaces

Looking for something a little different to the ‘usual’ conference venue? Here at the Eco Park we can offer something special. A stunning, organic farmland setting, where you can relax, learn, and feel inspired by the landscapes around you.

Workshops & Meetings

The Eco Park is an inspiring environment to hold a workshop or short course, with stunning outdoor spaces to use, along with the modern facilities of the Eco Park Barn. Or hire out one of our unique space for a meeting.

Private Hire

We offer the use of our unique spaces for Birthday parties, engagement celebrations, anniversaries and any other excuse you can think of for a party!

Gig Hire

This multi-purpose venue is a well-equipped, flexible space which can be transformed to create a unique setting for your event. The Barn is an small, intimate venue that can accommodate 85 in theatre style, 70 in cabaret, 30 in conference and 200 standing. We now have our new Skylarking Club Lovely open space too, with a smaller ground floor area with 2 mezzanine floors, a stage and a DJ booth.

Retreats

Our laid-back and inspiring location is the perfect setting for yoga, massage, surf or any other retreats. With unique spaces, beautiful campsite and organic, healthy food it the perfect location for all types of events.

For big gig and events we can use both the new venue and our barn to create a 400 capacity versatile venue with plenty of space for dancing, seating and performing.
